I created this simple regime for myself to follow, as a result of the many years I’ve spent reading and researching in the fields of health and nutrition. I recommend it to anyone who’s serious about living a healthy life and reducing their risks of chronic disease.
Mornings:
a. Drink a tall cup or bottle of pure water, preferably with the juice of a slice of fresh lemon, right after getting out of bed
b. Take the following supplements, prior to breakfast:
– A multivitamin/mineral tablet (chewable or non-chewable)
– A probiotics supplement *
– A digestive Enzymes supplement*
– An Omega 3, 6, 9 essential oil supplement (e.g., Udo’s Oil)
Anytime During the Day:
– Wheat grass powder – mixed with a cup of water (at least once per day)
– Plenty of pure water throughout the day – Drink at least 8 to 10 cups of pure water each day
Healthy Foods – to Emphasize:
a. Vegetables (all kinds, preferably organic; esp. salads and
other raw veggies)
b. Whole grains (100% whole wheat bread, oatmeal, brown rice,
and bran cereals)
c. Fruits (all kinds; preferably organic; esp. berries, such as
blueberries, strawberries, etc)
d. Lean proteins:
– Beans and legumes
– Almonds and other nuts
– Fish
– Lean meats and poultry (preferably free-range and organic)
– Eggs (preferably cage-free and organic)
– Low-fat milk and dairy (occasional usage; preferably organic;
I use lactose-free milk)
(Also, almond milk is a healthy milk/dairy alternative; the
unsweetened kind is preferable)
e. Cold-pressed/Expeller-pressed oils (e.g., extra virgin olive oil; others)
Junk Foods – to Minimize:
a. Any product made with white flour (white bread,
crackers, bagels, muffins, donuts, etc)
b. Any product made with white sugar (cookies, cake, candy, etc)
c. Fat-laden meats and dairy
d. Typical cooking oils
e. Fried foods
